Myotherapist/Massage Therapist

Michael is a  well credentialed Myotherapist who has studied at both the Southern School of Natural Therapies (SSNT) and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Michael’s treatments are specific and based on quality subjective and objective assessment. Michael’s dedicated practice is based on quality assessment and clinical reasoning underpinned by the importance of educating his clients on: self treatment, pain science, being in optimal positions and developing movement systems with optimal range of motion. He believes in an integrated approach, which combines treatment and movement. He specialises in personalised and responsive treatment of both professional/amateur athletes and the general public. He is committed to helping you manage your pain using multiple modalities in order to restore function and improve mobility, focusing on the client’s individual needs while aiming for long term results.

Michael is a passionate Myotherapist who has a thirst for knowledge. He currently works as a Myotherapist at the Essendon Football Club and has previously worked at the Victorian Institute of Sport. Michael has extensive experience treating professional and amateur athletes as well as the general public.

Outside of work Michael is undertaking Post-Graduate study at Deakin University and enjoys the outdoors, travelling, good food, and music and is an avid reader.
